Sponsorship

Athlete sponsorship is one of the primary goals of Judo of New Jersey.  Each year, our state organization offers partial funding for NJ athletes competing in point divisions at the USA Judo Nationals.  The board also votes annually on several additional events for which to offer funding.  Individual tournament sponsorship is also available for athletes with demonstrated need.

Primary funding comes from the annual New Jersey Open Judo Tournament.  Proceeds from this go directly to our sponsorship fund to assist with athletes' tournament expenses.  We also receive additional financial support from some outside sponsors.
